Before entering a rehab facility, Demi Lovato punched dancer Alex Welch in the heat of the moment, so it seems obvious that a lawsuit is in the works.

Luckily, reps from both sides are moving towards a settlement.

Welch’s attorney, Donald Karpel, said:

“Alex is seeking a settlement, an apology from Demi and a donation made to a charity of her choice." He also “has faith that we will reach an amicable settlement.”

The dancer was scheduled to do an on camera interview, but did not after a request from Demi's camp to hold off until the end of negotiations.

Demi's spokesman, Jesse Derris, said:
And we're urging him to stay silent. He's treading too deeply into Michael Lohan territory.

Yesterday, it was reported that Alex Welch, the backup dancer who was on the bad end of Demi Lovato's alleged meltdown before going to rehab, is planning to sue the singer for their physical altercation.

Seeing a cue to look fatherly, Demi's dad Patrick Lovato issued a warning to the girl through the press. He said:

"Demi has really good lawyers and so does Disney, this girl shouldn't sue. She won't win. Demi is so successful and and she has plenty of money, that's why this girl would be going after her. She wouldn't do this if Demi wasn't famous."

Ah, so innocent! He has so much to learn about fame whoring.

She isn't suing Demi to get her money, just like you're not talking to the press because you're a concerned father. It's all about the attention, pops!

And if we're wrong and you truly are looking out for your baby girl, the first step would be laying off the interviews. Demi doesn't need you to speak for her. As you said, she has really good lawyers.

Just be there for her in a non-publicized way. That would help her TONS.

I Went to Houston today, For you all who does not know what Houston is, Its a very large city near Baytown (Where i live) I got a elf costume at a costume store, then we went out to eat. I'm going to be a Elf for A toy drive. I can't wait!

I've been sick...... sicker than usual but thats mostly just me being tired, but lately i have been throwing up and sneezing a lot. its six Am and i have not gotten much sleep I watched some anime, called Blood+ And its scarring me. Its about vampires and undead things, not something you should watch before bed.

I went to my grandmothers house, at last minute because my dad went to a city called New bronze ville (Something like that) So i had to go to my grandmothers, And she does not have a Computer! So I'm sorry to everyone! And happy thanks giving! I promise to update my blog before i leave for thanks giving dinner!
I didn't really do anything while i was gone. I mostly read. And watched the history channel speical on the mayflower! I've be really into the Mayflower story and everything, So in to it my mother bought me a book its called "Dear America, The diary of remember patient whipple"  So i might start posting a entry a day to my blog!

Good News?There still might be a chance that Sonny with a Chance will be renewed. Disney Ratings posted on twitter, "Sunday Office Updates for the "Sonny With A Chance" & "JONAS L.A" fans. http: / /twitpic. com /3551o9." (take out spaces) Jonas L.A. has officially been cancelled. Sonny with a Chance is still pending. Lets cross our fingers and hope it gets renewed! :D I'll post as soon as I find out what they have to say about it. And sorry about the last chapter. Disney confirmed yesterday that they had renewed Sonny With A Chance for a Season 3."Sonny With A Chance has been renewed for a third season! Surprising Guest Stars in the upcoming season!," Disney stated Now it seems like this may be in jeopardy of not happening now according to the latest statement that has been released."David Cobb (Vice President Of DISNEY CHANNEL WORLDWIDE) is having second thoughts on the 'third season' renewal of SONNY WITH A CHANCE,." Disney said today. Later that day,Disney issued a statement rescinding their renewal of Sonny With A Chance for a Season 3. That means all the current Disney shows so far are over. Wizards, SLOD, SWAC and Hannah Montana. :(Do you guys think the reason they changed their mind is because Demi is in treatment?

Looks like Demi Lovato's dad has made his family angry by deciding to talk to the press about his daughter's issues. Hmm…why does this sound so familiar to us?

Here's what Michael Lohan Patrick Lovato had to say about his daughter's situation:

[The pressure of being a child star] "was one of the things I worried about when she signed with Disney."

More from Pat Lovato:

"It's in her genes with her mom and dad. Mainly watching her mom. I'd gotten out of it myself. 'Cause someone had to take care of the kids."

Demi's mother, Dianna, and Disney's lawyers have warned Pat to stop talking about Demi.

Here's what Demi's attorney, Jamie Young, had to say about it:

"No one speaks for Demi except for her designated representatives. Unfortunately, several people have taken it upon themselves to speak out — both on and off the record — about a situation they know nothing about."

Here's what Demi herself said about her relationship with her father in 2009:

"Two years ago . . . When somebody lets you down after you've been the only one there for them . . . I had to cut off all connection. It was hurting me too much."

Here's what Patrick said in response to his family and Disney lashing out against him:

"Demi won't even talk to me. I don't blame Disney; I never said that. I was misquoted. Disney has been wonderful to my daughter. Now their lawyers are warning me not to say anything else."
"I would never blame Dianna. She is a wonderful mother. I love Demi, her sister, Dallas, and Dianna. I think about them all the time and I pray they are OK and safe."

It doesn't sound like Demi's father said anything too bad, but if he hasn't even been in contact with her for two years, then it's probably not his place to comment at this point.

So, All i have been doing for a while (three days) Is talk about Demi lovato, So I'll go ahead and talk about me ^_^ 
Today I was cleaning, When i post this, I will be going outside (its very windy!) And read a book on the porch, I got scared this morning because my kitten was coming out of the dining room, Limping. At the time me and my older brother Zak was talking to each other. And when we got to Sparta (my kitten) His paw was caught in his collar. I got worried because i thought with his paw in his collar he would choke, But when i took his paw out of the collar, he bit me and ran away. What a way to thank someone! So yeah.. I got a twitter, YingXuan. My Epal said i should get one, And i did! Well Thats all for today!

Yesterday I talked about Demi Lovato and she checked into the treatment center. I asked my friend a very important question; 

What really caused Demi Lovato to enter treatment?

The catalyst was a fight between the 18-year-old Disney Channel star and a dancer on the Jonas Brothers world tour, but the problem started the night before, a source close to the singer's family tells PEOPLE.

"As she did on most nights off, Demi invited her band, dancers and her parents to dinner," says the source. "Afterward, she broke off with a very small group."

The following day, tour managers and Lovato's stepfather, Eddie De La Garza, questioned the group's conduct. According to a source close to the situation, the group had been partying.

"When tour management found out about this, they talked to the people involved, including Demi," says the source. "Demi reacted badly and perceived that someone on tour had told on her."

When Lovato and other tour members were on an airplane that same day, Lovato confronted a young dancer, whom she thought might have been the one to blame for telling on her. "There was a short, physical altercation," says the source, adding that it was "one-sided."

"Afterwards, Demi felt awful about her behavior and realized she needed to take personal responsibility for it," says the family source. "Because of this, and because of the battles Demi has fought throughout her life, both she and her family realized she needed to take steps to get help immediately."

The singer-actress "decided to seek medical care for her physical and emotional issues at a treatment center," says the source, adding, "she is not in drug rehab."

Contrary to published reports, Twilight star Ashley Greene, who is dating Lovato's ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas, "played no role in this," says a source close to the situation. Nor did the Jonas Brothers. "They were not involved in the incident," says another source.

Adds a rep for Greene, "There was never an issue between Ashley and Demi, and there is no truth to any rumors about a conflict."

Demi Problems?

Over the weekend we mentioned that Demi Lovato deleted her Twitter page. She was also said to reportedly have been sick and canceled an upcoming performance.

But things are worse than we imagined.

Turns out Demi has checked into a treatment center for “emotional and physical issues” which means she’s also had to cancel on her international concert tour with the JoBros.

According to Demi’s rep:

"Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time.
Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help.  She is doing just that.
She regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future."

WOW!

Sources are also claiming that Lovato was recently involved in a physical altercation with a female member from her tour and that confrontation helped Lovato decide to seek professional assistance.

We hope whatever the real issue may be that Demi gets the help she needs!

Hello! Well, Today me and my Family barbecued! I also got a kitten today. I named him Sparta!

He is a tri-pointed seal kitten. He has brown ears and nose. He has blue eyes! He is still a kitten, Maybe a month old, But he is eating! Hes not drinking though, Maybe because we give him Canned cat food. With gravy and all. Well My sister, Grandmother, Uncle and other uncle came over to my house for a barbecue. But i stayed inside, Reading most of the time! It's pretty early where i live. Anyway. Well Good bye!
